The new version enables you to consolidate also accumulated account balances. This is especially interesting with asset accounts in foreign currency where a currency conversion takes place between source and target company. In contrast to earlier versions, the postings of the previous month are reversed in the current month when the consolidation is carried out. Then the accumulated balance is reevaluated with the conversion rate at the end of the current month. Prerequisite:
To be able to install MARI Company Consolidation 2.01.00, the version 1.10.00 or higher must be installed and must be started at least once so that specific table fields are set up in the user-defined tables of the consolidating company.

There is a compatibility problem with Crystal Reports Runtime. Both SAP Business One and ProjectManagement use the Crystal Reports Runtime. An update to SAP Business One 8.82 PL07 or higher can make Crystal unusable. The setup of ProjectManagement has installed the Crystal Reports Runtime Setup 2008 SP03. For SAP Business One 2007 there was an SAP add-on for Crystal Reports. In order that this worked in combination with ProjectManagement, ProjectManagement had to install the WebViewer component. The new setup Crystal Runtime SP05 of SAP "stumbles" upon this installed component.
The easiest way to solve this problem is to run the following batch to uninstall the component before the installation of SBO PL07/08: [ZIP DOWNLOAD].
If patch level 07/08 has already been installed, you cannot print using Crystal neither in SBO nor in PM. A manual uninstall of SP03 does not work.

The cash flow analysis is represented in the Info Screen Management. Once the cash flow definition has been defined,
the menu item "Cash Flow Analysis" appears under Analysis. The cash flow for all projects can be displayed
via the search tree or for one project via the project master.
• System (left): Selection of the requested cash flow analysis
• Tree (top center): Selection of the project filter. The display in the figure is opened from the project master so
that the data is shown for one project.
• Display: Archived Data: As described below, the calculation for the cash flow can be performed at night. You
can retrieve the values of the previous calculations from the selection list. In the combo box <Calculation> it is
checked for every project whether changes occurred. If not, the most recently calculated data is used, if yes,
then everything is recalculated for the project. See Archived Data.
• Display: Columns: Normally, three columns "Cash In", "Cash Out", and the difference of the two are displayed
for each month. Other combinations of data can be selected from the selection box "Columns".
• Display: Time Scale: The time scale can show the results also exactly to the day now. A selection of 50 days is
displayed. As the calculation of the detailed figures calculates one day for the incoming or outgoing payment,
the results can be displayed also exactly to the day.

5.Batch Management
Highlights:
1.Full-Text Search in Master Data
Master data can be searched by a full-text search now in all assigned text fields. The full-text search searches for example also the contents of documents in the folder.
2.Search in Basic Settings
A small search window in the basic settings enables to search for settings and parameters.
3.Project Cash Flow
The cash flow module enables to calculate a cash flow based on the A/P invoice and A/R invoice as well as the planning. Planned costs and revenues can also be considered.
4.Contract Master
Contracts can be archived with all settings. This enables to check how the one or the other settings was defined before a major change.
The consolidating business partner can be defined in the contract now.
It is possible to manage items in ProjectManagement with the setting Batch Management, This allows creating batches with the goods receipt and selecting the batches upon delivery to the customer.
6.Travel Revenues Transfer Wizard
A new wizard allows transferring travel expenses that were already paid to the employee. This enables to charge travel expenses also later to customers.
7.Flextime Request / Vacation Request
In addition to the vacation request, flextime requests can be made. The new module has been developed for the main program, the Web Client and the Mobile Client.
The vacation request enables to record manually the amount brought forward every year.
8.Support Desk
The entry of support tickets in the main program has been improved. Comments and attachments can be created and edited now.
The main program allows recording times for a ticket.
In the notification e-mails, a hyperlink can be entered directly to the MARINGO iPhone App Project Tools.
9.User-Defined Tables
User-defined tables can be created and shown in the existing master data. A flexible designer allows you to create forms.
10.Special Display of User-defined Fields
User-defined fields in the ProjectManagement master data can be designed in different tabs using a designer.
11.Improvements: Query Manager
Query results can now be sent as e-mail. The results can be sent as table in the e-mail or as attachment in form of an Excel file.
A service can run automated queries and distribute the result.
12.Improvements: Approval Processes
The approval rules for documents have been extended to check the credit limit or gross profit.
If several employees approve a document, the order can be defined. So the second is notified only after the first.
13.Item Master Display in PM
Some master data of SAP Business One are displayed in ProjectManagement if the form of SAP Business One cannot be used (for example with several companies if you are logged in to company A but you want to show the item master of company B). The forms for business partners, items, item groups and warehouses have been improved.
14.Reports
User-defined reports could be designed only in one language so far. Now column headings can be displayed for different languages. The language is copied from the business partner master or the contract or the purchase process. The language can also be defined when printing.
15.Web Client
Flextime requests can be recorded and approved in the Web Client now.
The values of the breakeven analyses can be displayed in the project master. Now the time axis can be selected by the user.
Knowledge base items can be recorded in different languages.
It can be searched for business partners in several companies at the same time.
16.Travel Expenses in Web Client
Travel expenses can be recorded and approved in the Web Client now. Depending on the mobile device, you can take pictures of documents and attach these pictures to the travel expenses line.
17.Improvements: Mobile Client
The Mobile Client has been enhanced for tablet PCs. If the display is larger, the menu can be displayed on the left side and data can be edited on the right.
18.iPhone/iPad App
An App called Project Tools has been realized for the Apple devices iPhone and iPad that enables to use the Mobile Client directly and to attach photos or camera images to a trip or a support ticket.
19.MARI Service
The notifications for the individual services (service jobs) can be defined individually. This enables, for example, to notify the accountant if the comparison of the exchange rates failed.
20.Notifications
The design of the notification texts has been further improved. The possible links in the e-mails can now be represented as a short link.

ProjectManagement based on SAP Business One is available now for free download under the name “Project Tools” in the iTunes App Store. Users with a valid Mobile Client license can access their business data using this App via iPhone and iPad. Anyone can use the App royalty-free with the MARINGO demo database for demo or test purposes.

Vanaf 7 februari 2012 neemt de Federale Overheidsdienst Financiën nieuwe schema’s in gebruik voor alle Intervat aangiften; de wijzigingen zijn bedoeld om de verschillende aangifteschema’s te harmoniseren. Ook de invoerschermen op de Intervat website zullen veranderen.
De Belgische localisatie van SAP Business One maakt de nieuwe, vereiste Intervat aangifte-bestanden, conform de nieuwe schema’s.
Als u de nieuwe Intervat bestanden wenst op te laden en na 7 februari 2012 op deze manier wenst (verder) te kunnen werken, dan plannen wij de installatie van deze update graag zo snel mogelijk in, voor 20 februari.
Wanneer moeten de aanpassingen gebeuren?
Het nieuwe formaat wordt operationeel vanaf 7 februari 2012; dit wil zeggen dat de aanpassing bij u kan worden uitgevoerd van zodra de aangiften van december 2011 zijn gemaakt en geboekt.
Als u al vóór 7 februari 2012 de BTW aangifte van januari 2012 én de intracommunautaire handelingen heeft opgeladen op Intervat webpagina, dan hebt u nog een maand langer de tijd (tot de aangifte van februari 2012, in maart 2012 dus).

NB: De aanpassing is nodig voor élk van de drie aangemaakte Intervat bestanden, namelijk de maandelijkse BTW aangifte, de jaarlijkse lijst van de BTW-belastingplichtige afnemers en de maandelijkse opgave van de intracommunautaire handelingen.

OPGELET :
• De nieuwe aangifte wordt pas aangemaakt indien de systeemdatum >= 07/02/2012 is, voor deze datum
worden de “oude” versies aangemaakt. Met andere woorden; de nieuwe versie kan geïnstalleerd worden voor 07/02/2012.
• Om een geldige aangifte te kunnen indien voor INTERVAT 8.0, moeten Telefoon en E-mailadres op firma niveau (bedrijfsdetails) ingevuld zijn.
